In the “old time movie star” department, was Rosalind Russell any relation to Gail Russell?
They kind of resemble each other.
No. They are not related. I’m a third-generation film buff who has studied films, actors, directors, etc., throughout most of my life. That’s something, considering that I’m close to 58. I have a libraryful of books about all aspects of the cinema. So, I would say that I’m a realiable source.
Rosalind Russell had an actress-relative through marriage ~ Elizabeth Russell, her sister-in-law.
Gail Russell was such a sad, pitiful lady who had a rather short life. Rosalind aka Roz doesn’t resemble her in that thankfully. Another Russell is Jane, who shares some facial resemblance to those other women. However, I think that Gail is the most beautiful.

It's a funny thing. Life provides a wealth of timely lessons often delivered in unexpected ways that easily can go unnoticed if you're not paying attention. Once you've used the messages presented to you to guide you in the direction of the life of your dreams becomes in a whimsical series of out-of-the-blue events that drive aa go beyond what holds you back. And the truth is, all that can stop you from living the life that is the Dream Yourself!
I learned how to remain operating in my conversation with the universe, my Higher Self, God, or whatever you call it. I jokingly call voice of wisdom, intuition and inspiration of the wizard within. This is how I experienced a profound transformation lesson that catapulted me more beyond my current comfort zone and a great opportunity to speak in public. Interestingly, the lesson was given to me, as I observed the different behavior my two cats exhibited during my recent move to a new home.
My cats, kittens rescued brothers and as Hurricane Katrina, have lived together in the same environment with the same set of circumstances throughout their lives. However, they are very different from how they appear in your day. This difference creates two totally different experiences resulting of the same events. Dak said the move. He had fun. Every day there to explore boxes, wrapping paper to tear apart the new holes in the cubicle to trace. There were people greet new engines as a house wine for loading and unloading of furniture and new windows to explore the outside world. Every day for DAK was a new opportunity to learn, grow and have some fun!
Willy, on the other hand, experienced the same event with a different perspective. She enjoyed the move a little. He appeared every day so terrified a new change that would face and what new person enter the house that could harm she. She does not explore their new surroundings. She found the cache first 'hole' and hid there – for days. Terrified. His world shrunk to the size a small space behind the washer and certainly did not have any fun.
When Dak saw an opportunity for fun and adventure, Willy saw a threat to their survival. Same event, two different perspectives result from two different experiences.

The same happens in your life. Events themselves are not stressful. It's the way we see these events, what is the events of his life means to you and about you that creates anxiety. Simply put, it creates anxiety. If you're feeling anxiety every time you face an opportunity that requires that "put out there, do something that goes beyond your comfort zone, then to get another viewpoint. Locate the form of experience can help you learn, grow and have some fun.
I had a crawl pattern proverbial hole in my hiding place when given the opportunity to speak before any audience. Oh, I found excuses and reasons (FEAR), why we absolutely could not speak on that day in front of a particular audience, but the truth was that he was terrified. What else? What if I am totally ashamed of myself? My career, my life it's over! I'll never be able to show my face in this town again!
I watched this opportunity from the perspective of the worst that could happen to me if I spoke in front of this audience that actually happens. If I ran for cover when it fell on my ass trying to learn to walk I'd still be crawling in my hands and knees. I never thought that people Crash and Burn before an audience at a time and live to tell. Hugh Grant crashed and burned publicly when he picked up a prostitute in Hollywood and got caught. What did? It was on the Jay Leno show and lovingly laughed at himself and the public embraced it. He has not been caught picking up a prostitute or humiliated in public since then. Grant was to continue a very successful career.
Others have publicly humiliated themselves and blaming everyone and everything else on the planet for his misstep. These people continue to humiliate themselves by regularly providing brilliant fodder for the tabloid newspapers. Instead of being embraced by his audience they are ridiculed publicly. They learn nothing of the event. Your world of opportunity shrinks and certainly are not having fun!
So, if you noticed that you are anxious, afraid, to do something that you know that this same is what your heart longs for you to be. Do what makes you eager to transform their anxiety, whether public speech, an audition for an important race live, live! Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving!
